Captain Lou Albano died at 76. Legendary pro wrestling director Captain Lou Albano dies this morning, according to MTV.com.

Louis Vincent Albano, who was sent house from the hospital earlier this week and place under sanatorium care, was 76 years old.

Albano is famous to non-wrestling fans as the father in Cyndi Lau per’s “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” video. That helped kick off the Rock ‘n Wrestling association that launched the then-WWF to national fame in the 1980s.
