In spring 2003, possessions were looking up for 17-year-old Christine Paolilla an introvert teenager who had all the time struggled to fit in. She was friends with two well-liked girls at school — Rachael Koloroutis and Tiffany Rowell — and she had been selected “Miss Irresistible” by the scholar body at Clear Lake High School in suburban Houston.
But on the day of July 18, 2003, Paolilla’s life misshapen forever. Four youths were found shot multiple times at point blank variety in a house in the placid Clear Lake neighbourhood. Two of the sufferers were her associates, Koloroutis and Rowell, who had just graduated. Koloroutis was planning to be there at university in the fall.
The police were astonished, and stumped as to who would want the youth’s death. “There was a lot of anger and rage behind these killing and so, so, we thought … possibly there was a personal relationship connecting the victims in the home and the killer,” Houston Police Sgt. Brian Harris told ABC News.
